Devotional of the Week May 17- May 23

1 Corinthians 1: 4-8

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; that in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was conformed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."

The blessed assurance of our salvation is wrapped up in Jesus Christ. He is the one who enriches our lives with grace and knowledge. He is the one who gives us gifts. He gives us gifts of life, health, prosperity, peace, and power. He gives us spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of believers. He is the one who will confirm us before God as blameless on the day He returns.
