Okay, it is time to weigh in again. Today, my weight was 190.2 this morning! I lost 1.2 lbs this week, for a total of 6.6 lbs since I started this program on January 4, 2009. Loss of 1-2 lbs a week is considered safe weight loss, vs. rapid weight loss. In rapid weight loss programs, one tends to regain the weight more quickly. In slow weight loss programs, the weight loss is usually permanent. In order for me to continue losing weight however, I need to constantly monitor and boost my metabolism to prevent plateauing.
My goal for next week is to get below the 190 lb mark. I pray, and continue to pray for success in my endeavor, and for God's blessing and power to do this.
